In Italy, Tannico represents the most important digital ecosystem in the world of wine. In December 2022, the Joint Venture Campari Group & Moët Hennessy (LVMH Group) acquired Tannico with the aim of making it the European leader in the online commerce of premium wines and spirits.
The Tannico group has been active in Italy since 2013 and in France since 2021, following the acquisition of VALAP, one of the main players in the e-commerce of premium wines and spirits in France. In 2021, the two companies managed more than 600,000 orders and delivered 4.5 million bottles worldwide, closing the year with a turnover of over 76 million euros (+105% compared to the previous year).
